A RESOLUTION | Honoring Hudson Public Power on receiving several awards at the 2013 AMP/OMEA Conference. |
| WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 130th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to congratulate Hudson Public Power on its success at the 2013 American Municipal Power/Ohio Municipal Electric Association Conference; and |
| WHEREAS, Over the years, all those associated with Hudson Public Power have consistently demonstrated exemplary professionalism and expertise, as well as an unwavering commitment to maintaining the highest industry standards. Due to the exceptional effort and initiative they have shown, this fine organization received an AMP Innovation Award, a System Improvement Award, an Environmental Stewardship Award, a Safety Award for Transmission/Distribution, and a Public Power Promotion Award Honorable Mention at this year's American Municipal Power/Ohio Municipal Electric Association Conference; and |
| WHEREAS, These prestigious distinctions are a fitting tribute to Hudson Public Power, for the business has achieved a tremendous record of service and has remained a model of safe and reliable utility operations. Indeed, this noteworthy enterprise is truly deserving of high praise; and |
| WHEREAS, The accomplishments of Hudson Public Power are a justifiable source of pride and an outstanding reflection not only on the agency itself but also on its management, on its employees, and on the community. The company has enhanced the quality of life in our society, and we are certain that in the years to come, this remarkable establishment will continue to display the same unwavering dedication to excellence for which it has become known; therefore be it |
| RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 130th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, applaud Hudson Public Power on its recent accolades and extend best wishes for the future; and be it further |
| RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Hudson Public Power. |
