A RESOLUTION | Honoring the Wapakoneta High School boys bowling team on winning the 2014 Division I State Championship. |
| WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 130th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to pay tribute to the Wapakoneta High School boys bowling team as the 2014 Division I State Champion; and |
| WHEREAS, The members of the Wapakoneta High School boys bowling team are excellent young athletes, and they have established themselves as a truly exceptional squad. This season, the Redskins overcame a strong Olmsted Falls squad 3-1 to claim the Division I State Championship, the school's first state title in any sport, and for their unwavering commitment, the students and coach are certainly deserving of high praise; and |
| WHEREAS, Coach Jim Kaeck has demonstrated remarkable energy, enthusiasm, and dedication in guiding the Wapakoneta High School boys bowling team to victory, and his skill is reflected in the squad's outstanding accomplishment. Due largely to his tireless efforts, the members have established themselves as winners, both in and out of athletic competition, and he has earned the respect and admiration of all who know him; and |
| WHEREAS, In an educational system that seeks to teach the future leaders of our state and nation the fundamentals of self-reliance and the rewards of individual and group effort, athletic competition has become a valuable educational tool. Through their participation in sports, the members of the Wapakoneta High School boys bowling team have learned lessons of discipline, perseverance, hard work, and good sportsmanship that will undoubtedly be of great benefit to them throughout their lives; therefore be it |
| RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 130th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, recognize the Wapakoneta High School boys bowling team for tremendous achievement and extend best wishes for the future; and be it further |
| RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to the Wapakoneta High School boys bowling team. |
