A RESOLUTION | Honoring the University of Cincinnati dance team as the 2014 International Cheer Union World Champion in the hip-hop division. |
| WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 130th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to pay tribute to the University of Cincinnati dance team on winning the 2014 International Cheer Union World Championship in the hip-hop division; and |
| WHEREAS, An extremely talented group of students, the members of the University of Cincinnati dance team have certainly distinguished themselves as one of the finest collegiate dance squads in the world. Representing our country as Team USA Dance, they won first place in the hip-hop division at this year's International Cheer Union World Championships, their seventh ICU crown in four appearances since 2009; and |
| WHEREAS, Under the astute guidance of Coach Kelsey Hamada Moffe and her assistants, the members of the University of Cincinnati dance team have striven to attain world prominence in this challenging endeavor. Indeed, they have set an example worthy of emulation; and |
| WHEREAS, Their enthusiastic school spirit and love of dance has led the members of the University of Cincinnati dance team to take part in many exciting activities. All those associated with this fine group have helped to make it one of the world's best, and they are certainly worthy of recognition; therefore be it |
| RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 130th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, applaud the University of Cincinnati dance team on its 2014 ICU Hip-Hop World Championship and extend best wishes for ongoing success; and be it further |
| RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to the University of Cincinnati dance team. |
