A RESOLUTION | Honoring Pearl Valley Cheese on being presented with a Gold Medal at the 2014 World Championship Cheese Contest. |
| WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 130th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to commend Pearl Valley Cheese as a 2014 World Cheese Champion; and |
| WHEREAS, At this year's World Championship Cheese Contest, Pearl Valley Cheese won a gold medal in the rindless Swiss cheese class, and its entry was also recognized as one of the top sixteen cheeses in the competition, which had more than two thousand, six hundred entries from twenty-two countries. The work of highly qualified and committed professionals has placed the organization at the forefront of the cheese industry; and |
| WHEREAS, A business built on the highest standards of professionalism and service, Pearl Valley Cheese is a four-generation, family-owned company, and it has long since distinguished itself as a noteworthy enterprise. The venture produces more than twenty thousand pounds of cheese, using more than thirty thousand gallons of milk daily from dairy farmers throughout eastern Ohio to make colby, marble, lacey and baby Swiss, pepper jack, chipotle pepper jack, and bacon jack cheeses. Indeed, the establishment has continued its emphasis on providing the finest products possible, and it has maintained a reputation for integrity, reliability, and commitment to high quality; and |

| RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 130th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, congratulate Pearl Valley Cheese on its outstanding record of accomplishment and salute all those who have contributed to its success; and be it further |
| RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Pearl Valley Cheese. |
