A RESOLUTION
Honoring the Tinora High School girls 4x100-meter relay team on winning the 2014 Division III State Championship.

       WHEREAS,  The members of the House of Representatives of the 130th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to pay tribute to the Tinora High School girls 4x100-meter relay team on placing first at the 2014 Division III State Championship; and

       WHEREAS,  The Tinora High School girls 4x100-meter relay team has proven to be a talented and superbly conditioned squad, one that has gained the respect of fans and opponents alike for the spirited and highly motivated performance of its members. Throughout the season, members Kenzie Hall, Chelsey Seifert, Ashton Otte, and Tori Abdul worked diligently to improve their skills, and as a result of their hard work, the Rams placed first at this year's Division III State Meet; and 

       WHEREAS,  In an educational system that seeks to teach the future leaders of our state and nation the fundamentals of self-reliance and the rewards of individual and group effort, athletic competition has become a valuable tool. The members of the Tinora High School girls 4x100-meter relay team are not only a credit to their families and their school, but they are also representative of the superb coaching ability of their mentor, Chris Bockelman; and

       WHEREAS,  The road to victory and a championship title is a difficult one, requiring ability, endurance, teamwork, and a positive attitude on the part of students and coaches alike. The members of the Tinora High School girls 4x100-meter relay team have exemplified all of the characteristics that are essential for success both in and out of competition, courage, discipline, integrity, and an innate sense of the principles of good sportsmanship, and their efforts have earned them the admiration of all those who have witnessed these outstanding athletes in action; therefore be it

       RESOLVED,  That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 130th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, salute the Tinora High School girls 4x100-meter relay team for outstanding achievement and commend all those associated with the success of this exceptional squad; and be it further

       RESOLVED,  That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to the Tinora High School girls 4x100-meter relay team.
