A RESOLUTION | Honoring the Little Miami Select Women's Chorale as a 2014 World Choir Games silver medalist. |
| WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 130th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to extend special recognition to the Little Miami Select Women's Chorale on winning silver medals in three categories of the champions division at the 2014 World Choir Games; and |
| WHEREAS, The members of the Little Miami Select Women's Chorale have certainly distinguished themselves as outstanding vocalists, placing second in three categories of the champions division at this year's World Choir Games, and they have brought the joy of musical entertainment to numerous audiences. In all of their performances, they have shared their talents with others and have given generously of their time and abilities to better the world around them; and |
| WHEREAS, Over the years, the members of the Little Miami Select Women's Chorale have striven to develop their individual talents and to achieve the balance, blend, and harmony that distinguish superior choral performance. A cohesive group of dedicated and motivated singers, they have earned a level of respect and appreciation of which they can be proud, and they are truly deserving of praise; and |
| WHEREAS, Throughout long hours of practice and preparation, all those associated with the Little Miami Select Women's Chorale have exhibited exemplary commitment and discipline and have striven to develop their skills. The members and their director are to be applauded for their endeavors to impart the beauty of music to the community, for they have enhanced the lives of those they have touched with this universal language; therefore be it |
| RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 130th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, congratulate the Little Miami Select Women's Chorale on its success and extend best wishes for the future; and be it further |
| RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to the Little Miami Select Women's Chorale. |
