A RESOLUTION | Honoring the Logan-Hocking Middle School archery team as the 2013 NASP Ohio State Champion. |
| WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 130th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to extend special recognition to the Logan-Hocking Middle School archery team on winning the 2013 National Archery in the Schools Program Ohio State Tournament; and |
| WHEREAS, The members of the Logan-Hocking Middle School archery team are excellent young competitors, and they have established themselves as a truly exceptional squad. This season, they scored 3,332 points to win first place in their division at the NASP Ohio State Tournament, and their unwavering commitment has earned them this prestigious title. They are certainly deserving of high praise; and |
| WHEREAS, Coaches Steve Dietz and Dan Riggs have demonstrated remarkable energy, enthusiasm, and dedication in guiding the Logan-Hocking Middle School archery team to victory, and their skill is reflected in the squad's outstanding accomplishment. Due largely to their tireless efforts, the members have established themselves as winners, both in and out of competition, and they have earned the respect and admiration of all who know them; and |
| WHEREAS, In an educational system that seeks to teach the future leaders of our state and nation the fundamentals of self-reliance and the rewards of individual and group effort, athletic competition has become a valuable educational tool. Through their participation in sports, the members of the Logan-Hocking Middle School archery team have learned lessons of discipline, perseverance, hard work, and good sportsmanship that will undoubtedly be of great benefit to them throughout their lives; therefore be it |
| RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 130th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, congratulate the Logan-Hocking Middle School archery team as the 2013 NASP Ohio State Champion and salute all those who contributed to the success of this fine squad; and be it further |
| RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to the Logan-Hocking Middle School archery team. |
