A RESOLUTION | Honoring Emily Hasselbeck as Ohio Big Sister of the Year. |
| WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 130th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to congratulate Emily Hasselbeck on being named an Ohio Big Sister of the Year by the Ohio Big Brothers Big Sisters State Association; and |
| WHEREAS, The Big Sister of the Year designation is given to women who embody the spirit of volunteerism and mentoring through the Big Brothers Big Sisters program, and this prestigious honor is a fitting tribute to Emily Hasselbeck as an exemplary Big Sister to her Little Sister, Cameron, since 2005. The respect and admiration she has earned are clearly evident, and her accomplishments are a justifiable source of pride and an outstanding reflection not only on her but also on her family and her community; and |
| WHEREAS, Emily Hasselbeck is truly a remarkable individual, for she has combined civic concern and dedication with selfless initiative to become a dynamic leader in the Greater Cincinnati area. Through her unfaltering devotion to service and achievement, she has distinguished herself as a conscientious and hard-working Ohioan, and we are certain that she will continue to display the same unwavering commitment to excellence for which she has become known; and |
| WHEREAS, Willingly giving of her time, energy, and abilities, Emily Hasselbeck has striven to better the world around her, and through her generous contributions, she has earned the gratitude and esteem of many. We are proud to note that it is through the unceasing efforts of people such as she that Ohio has gained a reputation as a state whose residents are responsive to the diverse needs of their communities; therefore be it |
| RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 130th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend Emily Hasselbeck on her recent accolade and salute her as one of Ohio's finest citizens; and be it further |
| RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Emily Hasselbeck. |
