A RESOLUTION | Honoring Anthony Tutolo on winning the 2013 OHSAA Division II wrestling title in the 126-pound weight class. |
| WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 130th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to honor Anthony Tutolo as a 2013 OHSAA Division II State Champion in wrestling; and |
| WHEREAS, A junior at Lake Catholic High School, Anthony Tutolo has combined talent and competitive spirit with the highest ideals of good sportsmanship to establish himself as a truly exceptional young athlete. With admirable dedication, he has worked diligently to attain ultimate proficiency in wrestling, and as a result, he won the 126-pound weight class at this year's North Coast League, Lake Catholic Sectional, Alliance District, and OHSAA Division II tournaments, becoming his school's thirteenth state champion; and |
| WHEREAS, Anthony Tutolo's accomplishments and leadership, both in and out of athletic competition, are a justifiable source of pride and an excellent reflection not only on him but also on his family, his teammates, his coaches, his school, and his community. His unwavering commitment to excellence has earned him the respect and esteem of many, and he is certainly worthy of high praise; and |
| WHEREAS, In an educational system that seeks to teach the future leaders of our state and nation the fundamentals of self-reliance and the rewards of individual effort, high school athletic competition has become a valuable educational tool. Through his participation in sports, Anthony Tutolo has learned lessons of perseverance, hard work, and fair and honest competition that will undoubtedly be of great benefit to him throughout his lifetime; therefore be it |
| RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 130th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, congratulate Anthony Tutolo on his tremendous performance in wrestling and extend best wishes for continued success; and be it further |
| RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Anthony Tutolo. |
