A RESOLUTION | Honoring George L. Forbes for his service to the people of Cleveland and the State of Ohio on the day commemorating the dedication of the George L. Forbes Early Learning Center. |
| WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 130th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to pay tribute to George L. Forbes on the dedication of the Council for Economic Opportunities in Greater Cleveland George L. Forbes Early Learning Center, April 19, 2013; and |
| WHEREAS, George Forbes is deserving of recognition for his devotion to such organizations as the Council for Economic Opportunities in Greater Cleveland, the National Association of Bond Lawyers, and the Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation Oversight Board. Among those familiar with his valuable contributions, his name has become virtually synonymous with initiative, integrity, and intelligence, and considering his productive efforts, it is no surprise that he has won a host of admirers; and |
| WHEREAS, George Forbes has earned the well-deserved reputation as a devoted and caring individual and has gained the gratitude of each person with whom he has worked. A founding partner of the law firm of Forbes, Fields, and Associates Company, LPA, he has given back far more than he has gleaned, and his selfless endeavors stand as the hallmark of responsible citizenship; and |
| WHEREAS, Whether occupying center stage or working diligently in the wings, George Forbes has always made his dynamic, supportive presence felt. To his credit, he has shown how very much can be accomplished by a conscientious, industrious person, and he can be proud that his vision and vitality have inspired many who know him to dedicate themselves similarly; therefore be it |
| RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 130th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, applaud George L. Forbes on the dedication of the center in his honor and salute him as a fine Ohioan; and be it further |
| RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to George L. Forbes. |
