A RESOLUTION | Honoring The Academy girls under 13 team as a 2013 World Irish Dance Champion. |
| WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 130th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to congratulate The Academy girls under 13 team on winning the championship in the minor category at the 2013 World Irish Dance Competition; and |
| WHEREAS, The members of The Academy girls under 13 team are to be commended for their remarkable fitness and competitive drive--qualities that have figured prominently into their success. To their credit, they could always be counted on to execute even the most demanding routines with agility, precision, exuberance, and grace, and as a result, they won first place in the minor category at this year's World Irish Dance Competition; and |
| WHEREAS, Under the guidance of their instructors, Bryon Tuttle and Edward Searle, the members of The Academy girls under 13 team trained rigorously in order to ensure peak physical and mental conditioning, and their prowess has earned them many admirers. Participation in this activity has enabled them to learn much about creative expression, discipline, and dedication, and clearly, the experience they have acquired is certain to benefit them in the years to come; and |
| WHEREAS, Their enthusiastic spirit and love of dance has led the members of The Academy girls under 13 team to active and worthwhile participation in Irish dance, and they have served as an inspiration to their peers. Their accomplishments are a justifiable source of pride and an excellent reflection not only on them but also on their families, their instructors, their school, and their community, and they are truly deserving of high praise; therefore be it |
| RESOLVED, That we, the members of the Senate of the 130th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, applaud The Academy girls under 13 team on its recent achievement and extend best wishes for the future; and be it further |
| RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to The Academy girls under 13 team. |
