A RESOLUTION | Honoring the Polaris Career Center management and culinary arts teams on winning the 2014 Ohio ProStart Invitational Championship titles. |
WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 130th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to recognize the Polaris Career Center management and culinary arts teams as the 2014 Ohio ProStart Invitational champions; and |
WHEREAS, All those associated with the Polaris Career Center management and culinary arts teams are deserving of praise for their ability to meet challenges with enthusiasm and confidence. Management team members Morgan Anderson, Devan Anderson, Jr., Ashley Brunner, Elizabeth Nunemaker, and Renee Ondrejech, and culinary arts team members Daniel Frigeri, Travis Hawk, Katarina Liska, and Jalyssa Stringer, devoted countless hours to rigorous training in order to be prepared, and consequently, Polaris Career Center became only the second school in contest history to secure first-place honors in both the culinary arts and management team events; and |
WHEREAS, Competitive spirit and innovative effort have played major roles in the development of our country. The drive to excel is best nurtured when youth are presented with trials that permit them to test their skills, knowledge, and strengths against their peers; and |
WHEREAS, With their vitality, intelligence, and positive outlook, the members of the Polaris Career Center management and culinary arts teams have shown how much can be accomplished by a group of people with the same goals. We encourage these young individuals to continue to strive for excellence so that they may assume a meaningful and productive role in our complex society; therefore be it |
RESOLVED, That we, the members of the Senate of the 130th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, pay tribute to the Polaris Career Center management and culinary arts teams on their accomplishment and extend best wishes for the years to come; and be it further |
RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to the Polaris Career Center management and culinary arts teams. |
