A RESOLUTION | Honoring Samuel Prakel as a 2012 National Wendy's High School Heisman Award recipient. |
| WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 130th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to congratulate Samuel Prakel on winning the boys 2012 National Wendy's High School Heisman Award; and |
| WHEREAS, A senior at Versailles High School, Samuel Prakel has combined talent and competitive spirit with the highest academic standards to establish himself as a truly exceptional student athlete. With admirable dedication, he has worked diligently toward attaining ultimate proficiency in all of his endeavors, and as a result, he has excelled in cross country, swimming, and track and field, winning several championships and setting numerous records, while maintaining a 4.0 grade point average and becoming an Eagle Scout; and |
| WHEREAS, Samuel Prakel's accomplishments and leadership in the classroom, in athletic competition, and in the community are a justifiable source of pride and an outstanding reflection not only on him but also on his family, his teachers and coaches, his school, and his hometown. His unwavering commitment to excellence has earned him a National Wendy's High School Heisman Award, and he is certainly worthy of high praise; and |
| WHEREAS, We are extremely pleased to pay tribute to Samuel Prakel on his exemplary high school career. Indeed, the same maturity and experience he has gained through his participation in academics and sports will greatly aid him in meeting the challenges of the future; therefore be it |
| RESOLVED, That we, the members of the Senate of the 130th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend Samuel Prakel on his personal success and salute him as one of Ohio's finest young citizens; and be it further |
| RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Samuel Prakel. |
