A BILL
To enact section 105.411 of the Revised Code to direct the Capitol Square Review and Advisory Board to promote erection on the capitol grounds of a monument honoring the Ohio Tuskegee Airmen.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That section 105.411 of the Revised Code be enacted to read as follows:
Sec. 105.411. The capitol square review and advisory board, as one of its functions, shall promote the erection on the capitol grounds of a monument honoring the Ohio tuskegee airmen. The general assembly may appropriate money to the board, and the board may accept donations of money, for that purpose. The board shall not commence erection of the monument until, in the board's opinion, sufficient funds are available in the Ohio tuskegee airmen monument custodial fund to pay the cost of erecting the monument.
There is hereby created an Ohio tuskegee airmen monument custodial fund, which shall be in the custody of the treasurer of state but shall not be part of the state treasury. The board may draw money from the fund to erect the monument.
