A BILLTo formally state the General Assembly's intentions in its upcoming deliberations on reforming Ohio's laws regulating the exercise of eminent domain. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the General Assembly shall reform Ohio's laws regulating the exercise of eminent domain to provide for the uniform protection of private property rights throughout Ohio and to ensure that the rights of all property owners shall forever be held inviolate.
