A BILL
To enact section 3345.46 of the Revised Code to
require state universities to guarantee that a
full-time undergraduate student with a declared
major field of study can complete the coursework
for that program of study in a specified time
period.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That section 3345.46 of the Revised Code be
enacted to read as follows:
Sec. 3345.46. Each state university, as defined in section
3345.011 of the Revised Code, shall guarantee that an
undergraduate student who is attending the state university full
time can complete the coursework required for the student's
declared major field of study in the time period specified for
that program. The board of trustees of each state university shall
adopt rules to implement and manage this section, including
ensuring that the university maintains reasonable course
availability.
