A BILL
To enact sections 4511.111, 5533.353, 5533.373, and
5533.932 of the Revised Code to designate certain
memorial highways, to require the Director of
Transportation to erect a sign at the intersection
of United States Route 33 and State Route 328
bearing the names "Logan High School" and "Logan
Middle School," and to require the Director of
Transportation to erect a directional sign for
Hocking College at the intersection of United
States Route 33 and State Route 180.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That sections 4511.111, 5533.353, 5533.373, and
5533.932 of the Revised Code be enacted to read as follows:
Sec. 4511.111. Notwithstanding section 4511.11 of the Revised
Code and any conflicting standards in the traffic or engineering
manuals of the department of transportation, the director of
transportation shall erect a sign at the intersection of United
States route thirty-three and state route three hundred
twenty-eight bearing the names "Logan High School" and "Logan
Middle School."
Sec. 5533.353. That portion of the road known as Pearl road,
carrying the designations of United States route forty-two and
state route three, commencing at the intersection of that road
with Denison avenue within Cuyahoga county and extending in a
southerly direction to the intersection of that road with Memphis
avenue, shall be known as the "Lance Corporal David Mendez Ruiz
Memorial Highway."
The director of transportation may erect suitable markers
along the highway indicating its name.
Sec. 5533.373. In addition to the designation in section
5533.37 of the Revised Code, that portion of the highway known as
interstate number seventy-seven, running in a northerly and
southerly direction within the municipal corporation of Broadview
Heights only, shall be known as the "Senior Airman Alecia Good
Memorial Highway."
The director of transportation may erect suitable markers
along the highway indicating its name.
Sec. 5533.932. That portion of the road known as interstate
route number four hundred eighty, located within the municipal
corporation of Garfield Heights in Cuyahoga county only, shall be
known as the "Corporal Brad Anthony Davis Memorial Highway."
The director of transportation may erect suitable markers
along the highway indicating its name.
Section 2. The director of transportation shall erect and
maintain a sign at the intersection of United States Route 33 and
State Route 180 bearing the name "Hocking College" and indicating
the direction to the college.
