A RESOLUTION | Honoring Michael Brajdic on winning the 2009 Division
II State Championship in boys cross country.
|
| WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 128th General
Assembly of Ohio are pleased to commend Michael Brajdic as the
2009 Division II State Boys Cross Country Champion; and |
| WHEREAS, Michael Brajdic is deserving of recognition for his
outstanding accomplishments as a member of the Bay High School
cross country team. A fine young athlete, he placed first at this
year's Division II State Meet, and his record of personal
attainment stands as a hallmark worthy of emulation; and |
| WHEREAS, By developing such exceptional prowess as a
distance runner, Michael Brajdic has earned the appreciation of
his fellow athletes, the devotion of countless fans, and the
respect of even his most determined rivals. Cross country has
enabled him to learn much about dedication, discipline, and
perseverance, and we take this opportunity to honor him for his
exceptional achievement; and |
| WHEREAS, In a society that seeks to teach the future leaders
of our state and nation the fundamentals of self-reliance and the
rewards of individual effort, athletic competition has become a
valuable educational tool. With athletics playing such an
important part in the development of our young people, we are
extremely pleased to pay tribute to such an exemplary athlete as
Michael Brajdic; therefore be it |
| RESOLVED, That we, the members of the Senate of the 128th
General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, applaud
Michael Brajdic on his state championship title and salute him as
an outstanding Ohioan; and be it further |
| RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly
authenticated copy of this Resolution to Michael Brajdic. |
